We have faith in the immense power of storytellers and thought leaders to have an optimistic and lasting social impact. We see it as a duty to use our unique position, through which so much of popular culture flows, to ignite and winner efforts to improve the world around us.

From helping to guarantee that all voices are heard and amplified, including those that have historically been marginalized, to cultivating economic and social conditions in our local communities and global, CM has for more than 20 years contributed resources, knowledge, time, and funds across a range of critical issues.

CM Foundation

Harnessing the power and influence of the entertainment industry to create optimistic social change, the Foundation assists clients in building public consciousness campaigns and forging strategic partnerships; inspires volunteerism among CM employees and throughout our communities; and delivers financial contributions and in-kind donations to significant causes. The Foundation focuses its efforts on education, the environment, human rights, social justice, and relief after a catastrophe.

Diversity & Inclusion

More diverse voices, from miscellaneous backgrounds, provide a richer and better understanding for audiences worldwide. CM has long focused on ensuring that historically underrepresented groups within the talent community are assured equal chance for success.  To this end, we have created events, workshops, and meetings to help produce opportunities – and address the challenges – for emerging and established talent; led research and reported findings on the correlation between diversity and business success; focused on increasing the variety of our own client base; and advocated directly with marketplace buyers on the value of varied voices.

Business Social Responsibility Consulting

Recognizing the great impact companies – with their brand voice and business assurances – can have on global communities; and the growing importance of a company’s social purpose to their consumers, employees, and stakeholders, CM’s Social Impact business provides tactical consulting services to the public and private sector businesses. We help them develop, implement, and market their philanthropic, social responsibility, and purpose-driven initiatives to attain maximum social impact and business revenues.
